This fun parish event included lots of food, games, a St. John the Baptist Beauty contest (!) and great fellowship. Thanks to all who assisted and attended.

The Cathedral Pipe Organ Project

 

On January 20th, twelve men from the Peragallo Organ Company came to the Cathedral to begin the process of installing a pipe organ. Plans for this project started fourteen years ago, and we are proud to say that it is now a reality! The 17th Annual Cathedral Carol Sing

 

This year's event featured the combined choirs of the Cathedral Parish: the Cathedral Choir, the Holy Rosary and Holy Cross Chapel Choirs, and the Hispanic Community Choir.

On Sunday, November 2, the five communities at the Cathedral: St. Mary's, Holy Cross, Holy Rosary, Brazilian and Hispanic, gathered to share food and fellowship. Bishop da Cunha joined us for the meal and to meet parishioners.

Bishop da Cunha's Installation Mass 

 

On September 24, 2014, Bishop Edgar Moreira da Cunha, S.D.V., was installed as the Eighth Bishop of the Diocese of Fall River.
